Mr. Kevin Spellman - Department Chair
Mr. Spellman teaches College Accounting, Advanced Accounting, AP Economics. Mr. Spellman earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Pace University and his Master's Degree in Education from Hofstra University. He began his business career working as an accountant for an international CPA firm in Manhattan. He began his educational career at Malverne High School where he spent over a decade instructing students in courses including: Accounting, Business Law, Sports Marketing, Investments and Computer Applications. In addition, he coaches Varsity Football and serves as the central treasurer for school activities.
Mr. Richard Marchese
Mr. Marchese received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from St. John's University and his Master's Degree in Business Education from Hofstra University. For 19 years, Mr. Marchese was a corporate accountant. He worked in the accounting departments for companies such as Barnes & Noble, Citibank and Abraham & Strauss. Mr. Marchese is also co-advisor of the internationally renowned DECA business club here at Great Neck North. In addition, he is an advisor to the peer leaders of the 10th grade advisory.
Mr. Paul Rodriguez
Mr. Rodriguez, a former student from the Great Neck School District, teaches courses such as: Intro to Business, Sports and Entertainment Marketing, Fashion Marketing, Investments, Hospitality & Tourism and Fashion Marketing. Prior to returning to Great Neck, Mr. Rodriguez received his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and his Master's Degree in Business Education both from Hofstra University. While attending Hofstra, Mr. Rodriguez worked as a marketing assistant at Major Group, and while completing his Master's Degree, Mr. Rodriguez worked with the Hofstra Pride Club,where he handled all aspects of marketing and fundraising for Hofstra Athletics. Mr Rodriguez is also co-advisor of the internationally renowned DECA business club here at Great Neck North. In addition, he is an advisor to the peer leaders of the 10th grade advisory.
Mrs. Cara Accardi
Mrs. Accardi is currently teaching the College Law, Fashion Marketing, Intro to Business, Hospitality & Tourism, and Applications of Math courses here at Great Neck North. Mrs. Accardi received her Bachelor's Degree from Binghamton University in Business Management, concentrating in Marketing and Consulting. After graduation, Mrs. Accardi worked for various successful marketing and advertising companies, including Estee Lauder, before returning to Dowling College to receive her Master's Degree in Secondary Education. Mrs. Accardi is extremely enthusiastic, always has an upbeat attitude, and her zest for life crosses over into her classroom and with her students. She is also co-advisor of the Student Organization (SO), which helps plan events such as Spirit Week, Homecoming, Pep Rally, Halloween Parade, as well as all other school events. In addition, she is an advisor to the peer leaders of the 10th grade advisory.

Mrs. Miller attended Adelphi University where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. She interned then worked for Billboard Magazine upon graduating. After a year, she went to Queens College where she mastered in Family and Consumer Sciences. She currently teaches Child Development, Gourmet Foods, Food and Nutrition, International Foods and Bake Shop. Mrs. Miller is also a ninth grade advisor, Baking Club advisor and the co-advisor to our school's Student Organization (SO), which helps plan events such as Spirit Week, Homecoming, Pep Rally, Halloween Parade, as well as all other school events.
